Chapter 2
KYC, and the bank and payout profile
Where the money from Mode B subscribers actually lands, the two files the portal asks you to upload, and the one verification that has to pass before you can charge anybody.
Step 1
Open Bank and payout details. It is reached from organisation setup, and only the Owner can open it.
A Manager cannot see this screen at all. If somebody on your team says the link is not there, that is why.
Step 2
Enter your bank, your branch, your account number and the account holder’s name.
The account holder’s name has to match the name on your organisation’s KYC. A personal account in a different name will not pass verification.
Step 3
Upload a copy of your latest bank statement, or the first page of your passbook. This is what shows the account belongs to the organisation.
Step 4
Upload the LankaQR code image your bank app generates. This one is not paperwork — it is the exact image a subscriber will scan when they pay you.
Step 5
Submit. The profile goes to Pending verification and a Verification Officer reviews it in the same queue as your organisation. It comes back Verified, or Rejected with a reason.
Step 6
Once it is Verified, that is where Mode B subscription payments go. A subscriber’s payment screen shows your LankaQR code to scan, and your verified account details for an online transfer.
Step 7
If you change anything later — a branch, an account number, the QR image — the profile returns to Pending verification.
Nothing breaks while it is pending. People paying you keep seeing the details that were last verified, never a half-finished edit.

Questions about this
- What does following a private vehicle cost?
- It depends on the vehicle. Some owners share access free — a company staff bus, for instance. Others carry a monthly subscription, currently around Rs 300 per vehicle with the first month free. The app shows the exact amount before you subscribe.
- Can anyone watch my private vehicle?
- No. A Mode B vehicle is visible only to people its owner has granted access to, one request at a time, and the owner can withdraw that access whenever they choose.
