Ratings and your driver level

Step 1

After a completed trip a passenger can rate you one to five stars and leave a comment. Your overall rating and every trip’s rating are on your profile.

Step 2

You can rate the passenger too. It opens from the trip’s row in your ride history rather than at the drop-off — one to five stars, with a comment if you want one.

It is not offered the moment a trip ends, so if you looked for it there and found nothing, it is in your history rather than missing.

Step 3

Every driver starts at level 3. Good ratings become points: a five-star is worth five and a four-star is worth four, two stars and below are worth nothing, and five hundred points is one level.

Step 4

The level screen shows where you are — your badge, the points bar to the next level, your acceptance rate and your no-shows.

Step 5

Your level is one of the things that decides who is offered a hire, alongside how close you are to the pickup and whether you drive what the passenger asked for. How much weight each carries is set by MageRide and is not published, so no one can tell you what a level is worth in rides.

Step 6

Two things take a level away, and there are only two: not turning up for a scheduled ride you accepted, and collecting three passenger reports — which also delists you temporarily while it is looked at.

Letting an ordinary offer pass is not one of them. Neither is turning one down. That is chapter 8, and it has not changed here.

Step 7

At level 1 you lose the job board and scheduled rides until you climb back. You can still go online and take hires as they come — it is a restriction on booking ahead, not a suspension.

Step 8

On a scheduled ride where two drivers who posted intent are equally close, the higher level is offered it first. That is the one place a level is stated to break a tie.
